casting considerations and choices

The cast we chose for the film was the three main characters (Shanelle, Cassandra, and Kayla) and then we have the background characters: Ary, Nana, Shamaria and Amaya. For filming, we'll have Nae's dad film and guide him thru using different camera shots and angles.

decisions on sound, sound effects, lighting, etc. to be used in production

Okay so for sound and sound effects we were thinking of doing dialogue and using microphones. There wouldn't be any sound effects, tho there will be background music. For lighting, we may use a ring light tho it won't be very required because we will be working in the evening when it's dark but not to the point where it pitch dark so around 6-7:45 pm. I don't have much to write for this blog post but that's my basic decisions on sound, sound effects, lighting, etc.

Send your location

So this is the beginning of getting everything we need for the schedule. First, we have location and scouting process and decisions. Nae and I have decided on doing the film at a corner store that's in an urban neighborhood. From this location, we move onto the sidewalk then to the park which the scene ends there.  The way we want the opening scene to go is all the girls' walk out the corner laughing with their drinks and snacks and the little sister gets concerned about somebody following/watching them, to which she then goes missing and the scene ends with the girls calling the police.

Case Study:)

Case Study  This is my case study. It was actually pretty easy to do. Naheliah and I did our case study on the movie Saw (2004).   So I in the middle of writing this, I totally forgot why we decided on the movie Saw. I think it was because it fit the horror/mystery genre range. At this point of the project.

Im so frustrated

So I'm doing the storyboard and I'm lowkey mad because I have to do it myself. It's not hard but, it's a very long process when you don't have anyone else to do it with you. On top of that, the script is not written correctly. I'm so stressed and it's a lot on my plate because I'm starting to feel like I'm carrying the project. It took forever to figure out how to do the storyboard because, once again, I'm doing this myself. I take a little longer to do parts of the project because I don't want to turn in anything. It's not like one of those projects where submission counts it's more so understanding and producing quality content. I still need to catch up and do more blogs. I can't wait to just film and get the project over. Everything from casting to location has already been determined now it's just filling in the blanks. I'm gonna check my script again to see if Nae put the camera shots but I don't think so. That&#

Film pitch

The film production company Naheliah and I chose was Blumhouse productions. The reason for this decision was because Blumhouse Production creates some of the best horror/mystery including "Dark web", "Unfriended", "Get Out", and "Ma." The separate distribution company we will be using is TERROR FILMS. The title of our film is "I Wonder Where You Are". It's a horror/mystery film that will take place outside of a corner store at night. Three girls get the feeling of being watched as there are minimal cars and an array of houses.  They will continue to walk all the way to the park and the kidnapper will come out and take one of the girls. The scene ends with the girls immediately call the police.   This production company is a good fit because it produces good horror/mystery films. This works well with our film because I feel like it will be really good and interesting. The brand of my film actually does align with some of the other fi
